The swimwear styles might have been changing with the decade, but the disco era shines through in the design details of these Summer 1980 swimsuits.

Two Crayola-coloured swimsuits are featured: on the left is McCall’s 7084, while the other two are different views of McCall’s 7109 by Basile. (Previously featured in my designer swimwear post.) Runway and advertising images point to the Basile’s being a current-season design, from Spring/Summer 1980.
